You can try to change people's heads but you are just wasting your time. Change the tools in your hand and you will change the world' ( Stewart Brand)

What instruments have changed us? Do you have any idea what they are? I'll tell you anyway even if you guessed right: social networks!

They gave them to us for free... and so they enticed us to use them, making us so used to them that we could hardly do without them. And for what purpose? MONEY; we are a gigantic market research sold to companies who in turn use them to better sell us their products.

It is undeniable that social networks have changed the world!

Multinationals hold our data and spy on our habits. Now with geolocation they also track our movements, so they know what time we go shopping, where we go on holiday, etc.

Privacy is an increasingly sensitive topic that requires a lot of attention, both from us and from the institutions.

Are there only negative aspects in all this? Definitely not and we can benefit from it provided we also have the right tools and know how to use them!
